Sherwin-Williams, a global leader in coatings and paint products, seeks a dedicated Store Associate to join our team, serving both professional and retail customers with premium products. This role demands a commitment to delivering superior customer service while actively supporting the store operations in achieving sales targets and maintaining store appearance. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of customer needs, strong communication skills, and the ability to work dynamically within a team to foster an inviting and knowledgeable environment. Assist customers in selecting products by providing expert advice and recommendations. Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit payments accurately. Maintain the appearance and organization of the store, ensuring that all displays are visually appealing and stocked. Participate in inventory control and restocking of products. Prepare paint orders, including color mixing and matching as per customer requirements. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices. Proficiency in handling money and operating point of sale systems. Knowledge of mixing and preparing paints or willingness to learn. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting and standing for long periods.
