Status: Not Required This position is responsible for providing
quality objectives for the business unit in accordance with RTX
quality policies and procedures and in compliance with applicable
contractual requirements. This individual must be able to work
within cross-functional teams to meet and improve upon established
quality and delivery goals. The position will be a focal point for
quality issues, as well as responsible for continuing to develop
and improve the processes associated with compliance to Collins
Aerospace Quality Standards. This position operates in the
following functional areas: Quality Assurance, Quality System
Validation, Supply Chain Quality Assurance, and/or Material
Verification. This position will work as an individual contributor
to achieve objectives that have a significant impact on area of
responsibility. May manage Quality Engineering processes and/or
projects. Uses experience and knowledge to influence the
development, modification, application, and maintenance, or quality
evaluation, control systems, and protocols. What You Will Do:
Performs disposition and analysis of nonconforming material as the
Quality member of Material Review Board. Evaluates Collins
Aerospace products and processes for potential improvements in
scrap reduction, cost reduction, and yield. Analyzes and makes
recommendations for corrective actions for nonconformities and/or
design problems for internally produced products & processes.
Provides analysis and explanations of testing and inspection plans,
methods and technologies to assure reliability and conformance of
products and processes. Manages processes to ensure all
requirements are met for work transfer and process change
management including Resourcing Gate and Manufacturing Change
Control. Provides support to manufacturing operations in the review
of products and of engineering and manufacturing processes.
Identifies and manages risk in product development primarily
utilizing and driving UPPAP core elements (e.g. PFMEA, MSA, Process
Flow and Control Plans, etc.). Performs Escape management
procedures, root cause analysis, and recommends corrective action
for product escapes. Maintains a working relationship with cross
functional departments to the benefit of the customer and Collins
Aerospace. Designs and implements product engineering changes to
satisfy quality issues raised by customers. Responsible for
development of new inspection technologies or methodologies to
assure product conformance. Maintains quality data records,
compiles information, and prepares reports for internal and
external customers. Performs duties required by the Quality

Have: Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology,
Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 5 years prior
relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and
minimum 3 years of experience Must be able to work Monday - Friday
under normal circumstances, but job may require work on off-hours
and weekends for specific purposes. Manufacturing/Quality
Experience Qualifications We Prefer: Familiar with root cause
corrective action tools (8D, 5-Why, Fishbone, Fault Tree) Familiar
with industry specification and standards interpretation. Familiar
with inspection methods and techniques. Experience leading teams
with continuous improvement principles, Six Sigma, lean, 5S etc.
Able to make quick decisions based in facts and risk analysis, even
under high-pressured situations. Familiar with AS9100 and other
Aerospace Standards. Familiar with ERP systems, preferably SAP.

salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary
range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all
