empower connection. About the Role: This role sits at the
intersection of Audiology clinical expertise, education, and
innovation. As a Product Training & Content Specialist, you’ll
bring MED-EL’s technologies to life by creating engaging, compliant
training content and delivering impactful learning experiences for
both internal teams and clinical partners. Through collaboration,
travel, and virtual education, you’ll play a key role in advancing
knowledge and confidence in cochlear implant and hearing solutions.
Primary Responsibilities: Create, design and develop engaging
content on MED-EL’s products and services that align with
organizational goals. Provide product training for MED-EL staff and
clinical customer groups, ensuring that all training content meets
US regulatory and product labeling requirements. Utilize brand
guidelines to ensure consistent application across the
organization. Liaise with experts in the field and/or developers of
new products within the company to develop the technical knowledge
necessary to effectively deliver training on new and existing
products. Deliver regular E-learning events/activities for staff or
customers via a virtual format (i.e. AudiologyOnline, Microsoft
Teams, Zoom, etc.) Support training delivery
(synchronous/asynchronous) and troubleshoot technical issues when
needed. Frequent travel to participate in conferences, organize
workshops, meet customers, and present MED-EL training including
new hire onboarding and customer-facing workshops. (monthly or more
as business requires). Position Qualifications: Doctoral degree in
audiology or equivalent required. Minimum 8 years cochlear implant
experience required, preferred in MED-EL. Audiological background
with proven clinical expertise in cochlear implants, bone
conduction devices and certified as an audiologist. Positive
attitude, strong personal communication skills, the ability to work
as a team and collaborate across departments. Microsoft Office,
online training delivery systems, learning management systems
(LMS), video/audio recording, editing, and rendering for on-demand
training modules including Microsoft Suite applications.
Professional presentation skills, with experience presenting in
front of both small and large groups. Excellent writing and editing
skills with attention to detail Online customer training requires
as-needed access to an appropriate, quiet, professional environment
from which to conduct training sessions. Prior experience (or
certification) with teaching, training, content development and/or
adult learning delivery methods is preferred. Project management
experience is a plus. This position requires knowledge and
experience with the various philosophies and approaches to
clinical/medical service provision and liabilities to develop
effective relationships with customers and clinical staff.
Certification by the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) or the
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred.
Located in Durham, NC preferred. If not in Durham, you must have
access to a direct flight to RDU. Travel: 50% What We Offer: We
