Job Description:
Oncology-Medical Account Specialist II-Raleigh/Durham, NC The
Durham Territory Oncology Account Specialist (OAS), will engage
Non-Small Cell Lung and Non-Melanoma Skin Cancer customers within
specific accounts, including academic centers, large group
practices, IDNs, and community accounts. We are seeking someone who
keeps the patient at the forefront and is viewed as a market expert
by your customers. The OAS will lead performance and deliver
results while accomplishing this in a compliant manner with a high
degree of integrity strictly following Regeneron policies and in
compliance with all policies and procedures governing the promotion
of pharmaceutical and biologic products in the U.S. We seek a true
collaborative partner to work closely with Reimbursement and Access
Specialists, Key Account Leaders, and others to address customer
needs efficiently and effectively. A typical day may include the
following: Engage Oncology Specialists (NSCLC/NMSC) and other key
experts (Dermatologist/Surgeons and others) within assigned account
alignment and deliver clinical messages Facilitate partnership with
multiple collaboration partners; Regional Director, Territory-based
Oncology Account Specialists, Reimbursement Specialists to
proactively resolve customer needs, identify market dynamics and
trends, and develop strategies which support brand and corporate
objectives in assigned territory Develop strong working
relationships with aligned designated accounts and specialists
Execute market profiling activities to ensure a deep understanding
of regional and local health care delivery and payer systems.
Proactively identify business opportunities within assigned
accounts and leads appropriate coordination of effort by the
Regeneron Oncology account team. Develop a breadth of relationships
within each account to ensure an understanding of each accounts
objectives, goals, and challenges and identifies approved Regeneron
Oncology resources that are aligned to the customers needs
Demonstrates dedication to compliance through understanding of
regulations and policies that govern customer interactions and
consistent focus on ensuring compliance with them. Participation in
appropriate trade shows, meetings, conferences etc. This role may
be for you if: Experience in Biologics and buy and bill products or
strong relevant experience in the Oncology field required. Strong
understanding of Payer environment, reimbursement and challenges
within National/Regional payer market including government
programs, managed health care and evolving health care systems.
Proven ability and success in developing physician/customer
clinical experts. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills;
should be an effective team player. Strong ability to partner and
collaborate with other internal partners. To be considered for this
opportunity you must have a Bachelors degree, masters degree or
other advanced education / certification is a plus (Focused degree
in science or clinical experience is a plus). Minimum of 3 years of
sales within the field of Oncology; Experience in the NSCLC and
dermatologic cancer markets is preferred. Experience in Biologics
and buy and bill products or strong relevant experience in the
Oncology field. Proven success and positive track record of
performance with a high degree of integrity in complex markets
within complex systems. Ability to travel and cover a large

- $195,700.00
