**Job Description****Job Title: Technical Support Analyst****Department/Cost Center: Sales -- --****Reports To: Oliver Micknass (Sales Engineer)****FLSA Status:-- -- -- -- -- --****Summary:**This position will support our Sales Engineer with new business development, including closely working with harnessing operation, analyzing drawings, creating quotes, etc. This position will be entrusted to support overall growth of our harnessing and kitting business, and related business opportunities.**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**+ Review of customer requirements, technical drawings and specifications.+ Maintain technical datasheet and drawing database.+ Be effective at giving internal teams the most recent and accurate information possible. --+ Prepare customized hardware kit and harnessing quotations.--+ Implement OEM Customer engineering change orders (ECO), change notifications (CN), etc+ Develop new bid products and packages through the 1st article process until products are industrialized.-- --+ Attend to customer issues related to the customized kits interfacing with suppliers and recommend a solution.+ Identify alternates for parts that have been obsoleted/discontinued or could result in cost savings.+ Contribute to develop and improve internal processes and systems+ Lead or participate in work teams as needed+ Ability to negotiate with vendors for better costs and/or terms**Knowledge and Skill Requirements:**+ Bachelor--??s degree in related field+ Excellent verbal and written skills+ Naturally friendly, helpful, reliable and a team player+ Experience Reading and Understanding Specifications & Technical Drawings+ Organized, Strong, proactive multi-tasker+ Ability to take ownership of various tasks, and see it through to completion**Qualifications:** -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Education & Experience: 1+ years--?? experience-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Language Skills: ability to communicate at all levels-- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Mathematical Skills: Intermediate-- -- --Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve complex problems -- -- -- -- -- -- -- --Computer Skills-- -- Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, SAP, general computer literacy.-- Knowledge of computer aided design software would be considered and asset.-- ie.
