DescriptionCompany:This is a great opportunity to join Lambert'sLambert's Cable Splicing, LLC is an established utility contractor providing a variety of services to the telecommunications industry. These services include engineering, design, installation, and maintenance for all phases of inside and outside voice, video and data networks. We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Specialist in our Rocky Mount, NC office. This is a TEMPORARY position.Overview:Lambert's Cable Splicing is looking for a reliable and precise professional to help us properly maintain our payable information. The Accounts Receivable/ Accounts Payable Specialist will maintain current accounts and assist in invoicing functions. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can analyze expense reports to assign payments to the proper cost centers, work with vendors to resolve past due invoices and reconcile monthly statements in our Rocky Mount, NC office. Successful candidate must have knowledge of power and telecommunications . Candidate be able to pass a background check and drug screen. We offer competitive pay and an extensive benefits package. Responsibilities:

  • Tracking processing invoices
  • Meeting deadlines to process payment
  • Timely management of all deadlines
  • Receive batch invoices from field offices and load into accounting system
  • Pull deposit data from lockbox and ACH
  • Match deposit data to invoices and apply payments
  • Research and resolve any discrepancies with field offices or customers
  • Process adjustments
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Create weekly transaction reports (A/R summary, aging report, retainage summary)
  • Compile monthly and quarterly transaction summaries
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, standards, guidelines, and requirements
  • Ensure completion of work responsibilities and special projects in accordance with the designated timeframe
  • Adhere to Company ethical requirements, demonstrating the utmost integrity in all professional and personal matters
  • Provide controller with feedback, ideas and suggestions on a timely basis
  • Perform all other duties as assignedQualifications
    • 2+ years experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable
    • Ability to use Microsoft office such as Excel and Word
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Strong organizational ability
    • Effective communications skills
