Program - - - - - 401K -Chemical Room Team Lead -As a Chemical Room
Team Lead, you will support the production processes and guiding
team members on the proper techniques of distribution of chemicals
of our food manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for
handling and preparing cleaning chemicals, sanitizers, chemical
concentrations, and handling and storing the chemicals. The
Chemical Room team lead is expected to report any potential
contamination issues and any safety concerns that may arise as part
of the sanitation process.Essential Functions, Duties &
Responsibilities:---Provides leadership to team members to execute
cleaning and sanitizing material to an effective level as
instructed by Chemical Room Supervisor/Sanitation management
team.---Partners with sanitation management to troubleshoot
sanitation problems; recommending changes to improve sanitation
policies, procedures, and cleaning effectiveness. ----Implements
and promotes chemical/sanitation safety programs and safe work
practices through active participation in safety
meetings.---Supporting the development of sanitation workers
through effective training.---Alerts senior management on major
issues.---Promotes a safe work environment through knowledge of the
sanitation program and commitment to a safe workplace for
all.---Ensure product safety and product defense in the
plant.---Follows all GMP and HACCP procedures that relate to
cleanliness and product safety with the facility.---Responsible for
managing the supply of cleaning chemicals necessary for the
operation of the cleaning program and in compliance with OSHA and
all plant regulations.---Assists operations to maintain the highest
rating possible on all audits and inspections.---Supports all Food
Safety initiatives.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Instills a culture
of accountability with team members.Demonstrates strong
problem-solving skills including root cause analysis, risk
assessment and corrective action.Proven ability to work calmly and
effectively under pressure is required.Self-directed with the
ability to work independently as well as with groups.Ability to
effectively plan, organize and prioritize work.Ability to train,
maintain and promote a safe work environment.Read and understand
HACCP along with FDA and OSHA requirements as neededProven ability
to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment is
required.Flexible to work weekends, overtime, and holidays as
needed.Proven ability to communicate effectively, appropriately,
and respectfully with each member of the organization is
required.Ability to adapt to changing organizational and
operational needs; ability to lead others through change.Knowledge
of sanitation processes and procedures is strongly
preferred.Responsible for distribution of all chemicals used for
daily Sanitation Processes during the operational workdayDispense
all chemicals used for cleaning during productionPerforms other
duties as assignedAccountable to maintain punctual and regular
attendance for scheduled work hoursEducation & Experience:---High
School Diploma or equivalent preferred.---Prior experience in a
leadership role or equivalent leadership training preferred.Working
Conditions:---Work is performed in a food processing plant with a
high noise level, storage coolers/facilities.---Position requires
working around processing plant equipment.---Must be physically
capable of working extended hours if needed and in a wet
environment, standing for long periods of time, and operating
processing equipment.---Ability to lift up to 80lbs.We embrace
