Job Description:

A company is looking for a CBO Coding Specialist.
Key Responsibilities

Reviews, analyzes, and validates diagnostic and procedural codes for reimbursement and billing
Abstracts information from electronic health records to support medical research and patient care evaluation
Ensures compliance with coding guidelines and third-party reimbursement policies

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
Billing or coding experience preferred
Some college or coursework in relevant fields preferred
Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology required
Certification as RHIT, CPC, CCS, or equivalent required
