ABOUT THE ROLE
This dynamic position reports to site Quality Engineering
Manager and is a key member of our Quality team. Candidate ensures
adherence to
ISO9001, AS9100 standard, enforcing compliance to regulatory
requirements,
drive strategic corrective / preventative action projects,
implementation of
continuous improvement activities relating to external customers
and internal
processes that define the Quality Management System. The ideal
candidate is
well-versed in all elements of Quality values and controls
established in
industry such as: problem solving, process & product controls
and
data-based decision making.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Works directly with customers to support product/process
evaluations, audits, and compliance to customer, regulatory and
site specific requirements.
Leads and facilitates multi-disciplined RCCA and
problem-solving.
Ability to Review and Interpret Procedures and Engineering
drawings.
Performs analysis of reports and production data and identifies
trends in products and manages corrective actions when necessary.
Compile reporting data to as needed for presentation to drive
improvements.
Implements, evaluates, and revises, technical quality assurance
protocols/methods
Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both Honeywell
quality assurance standards and applicable government
regulations.
Supports day to day quality related issues with production areas to
drive rapid resolution.
Support product/process evaluations.
Performs internal audits of processes and functions to assure
continued compliance to international standards, requirements and
applicable government regulations.
Position will support compliance to ISO9001, AS9100.Due to
contractual obligations, selected candidate must be a US
Citizen
MUST HAVE
Bachelor's
degree in engineering or a related technical/business field
5+ years experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 Auditing experience
WE VALUE
Quality Engineering experience in an Aerospace function
Experience with Tableau, SAP in an analytical environment
Experience with Parts Per Million (PPM), Quality Escapes and
identifying trends.
Prior audit experience in a manufacturing environment
Advanced experience in Excel functions, pivot tables and
formulas
Advanced experience in PowerPoint
Excellent communication skills and be able to work equally well
with executive, engineers, supervisors, and operators.
Ability to work both independently and within a team and be
proficient in interpreting and applying established standards.
