Sanitation Supervisor -

$32 - $35The primary function of this position is to support the aseptic manufacturing areas. The Manufacturing Sanitation, Sr. Supervisor leads the manufacturing sanitation colleagues on shift. They partner with Manufacturing Operations to ensure the seamless planning, execution, and tracking of the completion of sanitation activities to support the site manufacturing areas.   • Responsible for maintaining working knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and emerging regulatory and compliance concerns as related to aseptic manufacturing sanitation activities.
  • Liaise with manufacturing, biological quality control, maintenance and aseptic trainer to appropriately schedule media fills.
  • Perform Daily/Weekly facility inspections of the graded manufacturing areas to ensure the facilities are within good repair, cleaning/sanitation items are stocked and within expiration and notes defects observed for correction action.
  • Completes operational quality, environmental, and safety incident investigations as required.
  • Actively engage in colleague development, including timely performance feedback/appraisals as well as through other aspects of the performance management process (i.e. 1:1s, individual development plans).
  • Ensure colleague training is maintained and in compliance with appropriate procedures, specifications, and standards.
  • Champions a safety culture by aiding in the establishment of safety rules and instruction. Adheres to safety requirements. Reports events to Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S). Ensures events are contained and appropriate steps are taken to mitigate risk to product and the manufacturing environment.
  • Provides continuous GMP coaching (i.e. aseptic cleaning practices, Good Documentation Practice, etc.) to ensure procedures and policies are followed and ensure the cleanliness of the aseptic manufacturing facilities
  • Anticipates and reacts to shortages of cleaning/aseptic material, equipment, personnel, and space to meet schedule and maintain inventory.What do you bring?
    
    
    • Applicant must have High School Diploma (or Equivalent) with eight years of relevant experience;
    • OR an Associate's degree with six years of experience;
    • OR a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of experience;
    • OR a Master's degree with more than one year of experience.
    • Prior pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing experience required for this role.
    • Prior experience includes strong knowledge, support and capability related to manufacturing operations, methods and practices.
    • Experience in a clean room environment
    • Ability to work inside the aseptic filling area daily
    • Demonstrated leadership capability in a pharmaceutical and/or manufacturing environment.
    • Capable to rapidly absorb technical data and apply this knowledge to the aseptic core work environment.
