Johnson is recruiting for an IT Manager, Technical Product Owner
located in Wilson, North Carolina, USA. J&J is expanding our
manufacturing capacity with $2 billion investment to support strong
portfolio growth and continue delivering breakthrough innovation
and transformational medicines for patients. The new facility will
expand production of innovative biologic medicines in areas
including oncology, immunology, and neuroscience. J&J’s

an integral member of a high-performance team, the IT Manager and
Technical Product Owner will be responsible for developing and
owning the strategic vision, prioritization, and deployment of IT
infrastructure and digital products to support new manufacturing
site-specific business capabilities. This role will serve as the
product owner for all technology products specific to the site,
driving the product vision and setting priorities. Furthermore, the
individual will establish a robust end-to-end IT operational
support framework in collaboration with the IT Site Leadership Team
and business partners. This includes providing ongoing support to
continuously enhance process efficiencies, reliability, and
cybersecurity. Key Responsibilities Product Ownership Product owner
for Site Operational Excellence services and Site-Specific Digital
Products. Includes end to end digital eco-system and integration
within the site. Lead digital enablement initiatives for new site
launches and expansion projects. Product Vision and Strategy
Develop and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap
based on business needs, aligning with global MAKE IT objectives
and ensuring effective stakeholder communication. Ensure site
digital products align with global product categories to maximize
business value and facilitate standardization across sites. Support
business stakeholders and IT leaders in crafting robust business
cases. Product Management Collaborate with cross-functional site
stakeholders (MTO, R&D, TO&R, enterprise, ISRM and TS) to
identify requirements and deliver effective site IT reliability and
innovative digital solutions. Prioritize product investments in
collaboration with site leadership to align with strategic goals.
Maintain ownership of the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring
timely technology deployments and Agile adoption while engaging in
scrum ceremonies, refining user stories, and tracking metrics.
Oversee user acceptance testing to ensure high-quality product
releases. Coordinate with TS to ensure resource allocation and
alignment with business goals. Financial Management Manage the
total cost of ownership (TCO) of products, driving cost
optimization and collaborating with site finance to identify
cost-reduction opportunities while maintaining operational
efficiency. Support the IT Site Leader in capital and operational
financial planning. Site Operational Excellence Drive continuous
technology improvements, monitoring reliability metrics, including
Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR).
Collaborate with ISRM and site engineers on Cybersecurity
initiatives to maintain secure operations and manage technical debt
efficiently. Ensure compliance with SLAs related to issue
resolution, product availability, and alignment with business
objectives. Responsible for site level ALM & TLM activities to
ensure to manage technical debt efficiently. Conduct user surveys
to gather feedback on technology product performance and needs to
inform enhancements. Lead or support innovation demand management,
incubate new ideas, conduct market research, lead test and learns,
and assist scaling new products Talent Development Establish
performance goals and professional development feedback mechanisms
while ensuring the completion of training programs that align with
current roles and future aspirations. Advocate for Digital Maturity
competencies to enhance team capabilities and cultivate a culture
of continuous learning, staying informed about technological trends
and encouraging innovative practices. Qualifications Bachelor's
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field is
required. Minimum of 5 years in a technology leadership role,
including at least 5 years in the pharmaceutical manufacturing
domain, managing IT operational support at manufacturing sites.
Proficient in the digital product management lifecycle, managing
product backlogs, prioritization, and defining user stories.
Skilled in constructing business cases, tracking benefits
realization, and driving technology adoption to enhance business
value. Understanding of business drivers and the ability to connect
priorities to technology investments. Familiarity with ISA 95
model. Experience managing vendor partners in developing and
supporting complex technical systems. Experience with
manufacturing-related systems (e.g., MES PAS-X, OSI-PI, labeling,
serialization) and ecosystem integration. Familiarity with supply
chain systems (e.g., SAP ERP, quality systems, lab systems) and
broad supply chain processes, including biologics API processes.
Understanding of IT infrastructure and OT-IT convergence is a plus.
Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and deployment architecture.
Experience with software development and testing methodologies
(SDLC) and Agile project management. Familiarity with middleware
tools and data platforms. Proficient with JIRA, MS Project, and
Confluence. Excellent written and oral communication skills, with
strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented approach. Ability
to influence, negotiate, and communicate effectively with internal
and external stakeholders across complex matrix organizations.
Proven ability to manage high levels of complexity and multiple
competing priorities. Supervisory or people management experience
is a plus. Familiarity with experience design and design thinking

this position is : $100,000 to $172,500 Additional Description for
Pay Transparency: The Company maintains highly competitive,
performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines,
this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in
accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual
performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive
to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and
the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year.
Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual
