Job Description:
Employer is partnering with a hospital and is looking to provide a Per Diem Registered Nurse in the Labor and Delivery department in Rocky Mount, NC.
Unit: Labor and Delivery
Shift: PRN
Length of contract: 13 weeks with possibility to extend
The nurse will be responsible for assisting, supporting and educating women during the four stages of delivery: Antepartum, Intrapartum, Postpartum and Neonatal.
Specific labor and delivery nurse job duties include: Providing support for the mother during labor, as well as monitoring the fetal heart rate and mother's vital signs.
Other duties may include: Measuring the strength and timing of contractions, Administering medications and performing diagnostic tests, Assisting with inducing labor, and assisting with various other procedures.
Pay: Est. $45.00 to $50.00/Hourly
