Coverage Needed

• Schedule: June 1- 4, 8P-8A

Clinical Details

• Census: 30-35 shared with another provider
• Must respond to hospital codes
• Procedures Required: Vent management, intubations, EKG interpretation
  • Preferred: Central line placement, arterial line placement, elective cardioversion, lumbar puncture, paracentesis, thoracentesis, suturing minor lacerations, I&D
• Consulting cardiologist, nephrologist, and oncologist
• EMR: Meditech
• Open ICU
• 1 Doctor on rounding and admissions during the night

Requirements

• Hospitalist adult, ped, and newborn nursery required
• Preferred: Board certified in the family medicine and sees adults, pediatrics and newborn nursery patients with NRP certification or a Internal Medicine and Pediatrics board certified physician
  • Or Board certified in pediatrics that sees pediatric and newborn nursery patients or board certified in family medicine and sees pediatric patients and newborn nursery with NRP certification
• Active NC license
• Board certified or eligible (if within 3 years of completing residency)
  • Boarded in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Med/Peds
