Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Burlington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,973 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required, ACLS preferred Must-Have: - EKG exam required for all RNs regardless of specialty - EPIC experience required - Telemetry remote monitoring experience required - Charge RN experience preferred Description: The position requires a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry care. The night shift comprises three 12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 07:30. The nurse will primarily provide care for general surgery patients. Patient ratios are approximately 1:5 to 6. The candidate must be willing to float to all facilities as needed for patient care. A zero-tolerance policy exists for tardiness and unexcused absences. The nurse will work with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV teams and respiratory services. The unit focuses on pre-op and post-op care needs. Candidates should be highly skilled in telemetry and remote monitoring. Must have experience with various nursing skills, including interpretation of dysrhythmias. Meeting compliance deadlines is essential for successful onboarding. All candidates must be prepared for a pass/fail EKG exam. The role emphasizes teamwork and flexibility in scheduling.
