Job Description:
Travel Nurse Across America (TNAA) is excited to offer an
opportunity for experienced Pediatric OR Nurses who are passionate
about providing exceptional care in a traveling role. As a
Pediatric OR Nurse with TNAA, you will have the unique opportunity
to explore new locations while maintaining a focus on healthcare
excellence in surgical environments specifically designed for
children. This role entails preparing operating rooms, assisting
surgeons during operations, and ensuring the comprehensive care of
pediatric patients during perioperative periods. Prepare operating
rooms for pediatric surgeries ensuring all necessary supplies and
equipment are available and sterile. Assist surgeons during
procedures, providing instruments, and managing surgical equipment.
Monitor patient’s vital signs and maintain accurate records
throughout the surgical process. Collaborate with other healthcare
professionals to ensure effective patient care before, during, and
after surgeries. Educate and support patients and their families
regarding surgical procedures and post-operative care. Adhere to
all facility health and safety policies and procedures. Proficiency
in pediatric surgical operations and equipment. Strong
communication skills for interaction with children and families.
Ability to handle stressful situations and make critical decisions
quickly. Adaptability to different hospital settings and teams.
Competence in maintaining sterile environments and understanding of
infection control procedures. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance
Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
in the state of practice. Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
certification. Certified Pediatric Operating Room Nurse (CNOR)
credential is preferred.
