Job Description Our client, one of the state's leading healthcare organizations, located near Durham, NC is seeking a registered Echo Technologist to join their team. Enjoy a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits. Must have at least 1 year of experience and be RDCS or RCS registered. Job Responsibilities for the Echo Technologist: Performs diagnostic echocardiograms and stress echo procedures as ordered by physicians. Records quality information while performing echocardiographic imaging and following procedural guidelines and protocols. Explains procedures and possible side effects of each procedure to the patient or family member to relieve fears and anxieties associated with the diagnostic cardiology procedure. Confirms all physician requests and evaluates patient’s clinical history for proper clinical indicators and possible contraindications for procedure requested. Collaborates with physicians to ensure quality patient care. Operates equipment used to perform echocardiograms. Day Shift. Fixed schedule of Monday - Friday Minimum Requirements for the Echo Technologist: RDCS or RCS required 1 years of experience required BLS $10K Sign on Bonus - must have 1 year of experience.
