active Physical Therapist license and 1 year of Physical Therapy
experience required. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Physical
Therapist position is available in the Research Triangle area of
North Carolina, serving approximately 5 to 9 schools within the
Durham Public Schools district. This contract role offers the
opportunity to work primarily in Central and North-Central Durham,
providing school-based physical therapy services to a caseload of
about 30-40 students across elementary, middle, and high school
levels. Responsibilities: - Deliver physical therapy services to
students with diverse needs, aligning with school schedules
(Elementary: 7:45 AM2:15 PM; Middle: 8:30 AM3:15 PM; High: 9:15
AM4:15 PM) - Manage caseload effectively, adapting to evolving
district needs - Coordinate visits among multiple schools, ensuring
1-2 visits per school per month as required - Collaborate with
school staff and families to support student progress
Qualifications: - Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required -
Previous experience providing physical therapy services in a school
setting - Ability to work full-time (37.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours
per day) - Willingness to complete internal eligibility interviews
within given time frames Location: Cary, NC (serving Durham Public
Schools, Research Triangle region) This is a contract position
starting as soon as possible through June 3, 2026. Candidates
should be prepared for onsite work and flexible scheduling as per
