weeks - Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an
experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit night shift position
requiring a NC or compact license and recent nursing experience.
Details - Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on the 7th floor
of a hospital - Care for patients with complex medical conditions
requiring intermediate-level monitoring - 12-hour night shifts from
7:00pm to 7:00am, three shifts per week - 13-week contract
assignment Requirements - Active Registered Nurse license in North
Carolina or compact state - Minimum one year of nursing experience
required - Nursing Diploma or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN/ASN)
from an accredited school - Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification from AHA or ARC - Certification in Crisis Prevention
Intervention (CPI) and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) preferred
Additional Information - Coordinate and deliver nursing care using
the nursing process for patients with complex conditions -
Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and evaluation to
ensure optimal patient outcomes - Perform bedside point-of-care
testing as required - Contribute to unit goals, professional
growth, and quality improvement activities - Promote patient and
family education using relevant educational materials - Maintain a
