Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. An exciting
opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist
specializing in school-based therapy to provide services in
Suffolk, VA. This position involves providing vital support to
students in school settings, enhancing their ability to participate
fully in academic and social activities. This role is travel-based,
offering diverse experiences across various school environments
within the region. Responsibilities: - Conduct evaluations and
develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each students
needs - Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to
support students sensory, motor, and functional skills -
Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to
promote effective strategies and interventions - Document progress
and maintain accurate records in compliance with school and state
guidelines - Participate in meetings such as Individualized
Education Program (IEP) reviews to contribute therapy insights
Qualifications: - Current Occupational Therapy license in the state
of Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure - Experience working
as a school-based Occupational Therapist - Knowledge of school
systems, educational regulations, and IDEA compliance - Strong
interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate
with students, families, and school staff - Flexibility and
willingness to travel to various school sites within Suffolk and
