Job Description Cardiology opening in NCLocated in New Bern,
NCFull-Time PermanentSeeking BE/BC Cardiologist to join hospital.
Call 1:4; 1:4 weekend rounding/consults Advance imaging or heart
failure a plus Diagnoses and treats diseases of the heart and its
functions: Examines patient for symptoms indicative of heart
disorders, using medical instruments and equipment. Studies
diagnostic images and electrocardiograph recordings to aid in
making diagnoses. Prescribes medications, and recommends dietary
and activity program, as indicated. Requires possession and
maintenance of a Physician's License from the State of North
Carolina and certifications from the DEA and be a member in good
standing of the Medical Staff of the hospital. Health System and
the community it serves have excellent physicians who encompass
both the primary care specialties and most all of the surgical
specialties and medical subspecialties. Medical Center is a fully
