Job Description Family Medicine Opening in Coastal North Carolina Located in Swansboro, NC – a charming waterfront community near Emerald Isle-Full-time, permanent position-Employed opportunity-100% outpatient practice-Join a modern, state-of-the-art clinic-Small Family Medicine practice caring for both pediatric and adult patients-Physician-led organization-Clinic hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm-Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits Responsibilities: -Provide high-quality, patient-centered medical care-Exercise independent clinical judgment in the evaluation and treatment of patients-Order and prescribe appropriate medical treatments, diagnostic testing, and ancillary services-Prescribe medically appropriate medications-Consult with and counsel patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans-Provide preventive care, health education, and wellness guidance-Refer patients to appropriate specialists and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, multidisciplinary care-Accurately document all medical and clinical care in the electronic medical record, including appropriate diagnosis and procedural coding-Adhere to the highest standards of medical ethics and professionalismThis opportunity is ideal for a Family Medicine physician seeking an outpatient-focused role in a coastal community offering a relaxed lifestyle, strong community ties, and easy access to North Carolina’s beautiful beaches.
