MRI Tech Location: Burlington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,083 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/24/2026 About the Position Job Title: MRI Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: MRI Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Required Certifications: ARMRIT or ARRT MR, BLS Must-Have: PACS and Siemens experience Previous Charge experience EPIC experience Experience with Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ED Trauma Skills in performing Abdominal, Chest, Brain, and various other MRI procedures Ability to start peripheral IVs and administer contrast media Knowledge of isolation precautions Description: The MRI Technologist will perform MRI imaging for a variety of patient populations. Candidates must have experience in MRI procedures including but not limited to Abdomen, Chest, Brain, and spinal imaging. The role requires proficiency with PACS and Siemens equipment. Experience in a charge role is necessary to oversee imaging procedures. Knowledge of EPIC is also required for charting and patient management. The position involves working with adult and pediatric patients in acute care settings. The technologist will be expected to ensure compliance with safety protocols during imaging procedures. Successful candidates will demonstrate flexibility with scheduling and a commitment to punctuality. An EKG exam will be conducted during the compliance process. No prior open cases on background checks are accepted. Candidates must have a valid license for consideration. Experience in managing both outpatient and inpatient MRI procedures is preferred.
