Job Description Job Description About the Position A well-established, multi-location dental group is seeking a General Dentist to join its growing team in Eastern North Carolina . This position will initially include 1 day per week in Morehead City (with the office opening in March/April) and 3 days per week in Jacksonville , transitioning to additional days in Morehead City as the practice becomes fully established. The Jacksonville location serves a patient population that is approximately 75% North Carolina Medicaid , so the ideal provider must be comfortable treating Medicaid patients. The Morehead City office will also accept Medicaid but is designed to function more like a private practice , accepting major insurance plans along with cash and private-pay patients. The incoming dentist should be confident providing comprehensive general dentistry , including oral surgery and removable prosthodontics . You will work alongside: 1 additional Dentist 2 Dental Assistants 2 Hygienists Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Clinical Details: In-house lab for removable appliances Fixed prosthetics are sent to a nearby partner lab in New Bern Focus on General and Restorative Dentistry Restorative appointments: 60 minutes Crown appointments: 90 minutes Patient mix includes Medicaid, cash, and private-pay About the Practice The organization is a provider-led dental group with multiple offices across the region, known for strong operational support, collaborative clinical environments, and long-term growth opportunities.
