Urgent Care Team as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Are
you passionate about providing high-quality urgent care to diverse
patient populations? We are seeking dedicated Nurse Practitioners
and Physician Assistants to deliver exceptional medical services in
fast-paced urgent care settings. This is an excellent opportunity
to utilize your clinical skills, grow professionally, and make a
meaningful impact on patient health. In this vital role, you will
be the primary provider responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and
treating adult and pediatric patients, including performing minor
procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear irrigations. You
will operate independently within a supportive team environment,
utilizing Epic EMR to ensure seamless patient documentation and
care coordination. Your expertise will directly contribute to
efficient patient flow and high standards of care delivery across
multiple locations within a 65-mile radius. Required Skills and
Qualifications: Minimum 12 months of clinical experience in urgent
care or acute care settings Board Certification (BC) in their
respective field or NCCPA/NP Boards certification Valid PA
Certification or Family NP Certification Current Basic Life Support
(BLS) certification Proficiency with Epic EMR system (training
provided) Ability to see and treat all patients independently as a
sole provider in the center Strong soft skills to foster positive
interactions with patients and support staff Excellent clinical
judgment and multitasking skills Nice to Have Skills: Experience
performing minor procedures such as I&D, lac repairs, and ear
irrigation Previous experience working with diverse patient
populations, including pediatric and adult patients Familiarity
with other EMR systems or additional procedural skills Preferred
Education and Experience: Graduation from an accredited nurse
practitioner or physician assistant program At least 12 months of
recent urgent or acute care experience Additional Requirements:
Willingness to work at multiple sites within a 65-mile radius
Ability to participate in clinical interviews, EMR training, and
onboarding prior to first solo shift No travel reimbursement is
provided; support for mileage within the specified radius only Must
pass credentialing and Medicare enrollment processes We offer a
