This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse experienced in pediatric and school health nursing protocols, with a strong background in tracheostomy care. Key responsibilities include: - Providing direct nursing care and health evaluations for a caseload of middle school students, focusing on those with tracheostomies. - Developing and implementing individual health plans or plans of care tailored to students medical needs. - Supervising additional nursing or medical staff involved in student care, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards. - Conducting comprehensive health assessments and maintaining thorough documentation. - Collaborating with school personnel and families to support student health and educational participation. Qualifications and Experience: - Current Registered Nurse license (LPN candidates will not be considered). - Training or certification in tracheostomy care. - Proven ability to conduct health evaluations and manage individual care plans in a school setting. - Experience supervising healthcare staff and working in pediatric nursing preferred. - Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with families and school teams.
