Roles & Responsibilities Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care during 12-hour night shifts to patients in your unit Perform thorough patient assessments and continuously monitor patient status Administer medications and treatments accurately and in a timely manner Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate excellent patient care Document care thoroughly and communicate handoffs clearly at shift change Respond quickly and competently to urgent changes in patient condition Support and educate patients and families to promote recovery and wellbeing Qualifications Active RN or LPN license (NC license or compact state license accepted where applicable) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Previous acute care or long-term care nursing experience preferred Ability to work rotating night 12-hour shifts and the Every Other Week schedule Clear background check, immunizations, and ability to meet facility onboarding requirements Strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment skills Education Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (for LPN) or accredited nursing program (ADN/BSN for RN) Knowledge & Skills Solid clinical assessment and patient monitoring skills Medication administration and safe documentation practices Ability to prioritize and manage care during busy night shifts Comfortable collaborating with interdisciplinary teams Familiarity with electronic health records and accurate charting Benefits Generous housing stipend and travel support to make your assignment comfortable Comprehensive medical, dental & vision coverage so you can stay healthy Paid time off to recharge between assignments Licensure assistance and reimbursement to keep your credentials current Access to continuing education and professional development resources A supportive team that values your expertise and work-life balance Referral program — bring a friend and help build your dream team Employee assistance programs and resources for wellbeing Travel Perks: Explore Pembroke, NC This travel assignment places you in Pembroke, NC — a community with local charm and cultural highlights.
