Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: Burlington, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,987 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Burlington, North Carolina, 27215! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years required License: Required Certifications: BLS, NIH Must-Have: Telemetry remote monitoring experience required. Feeding tube care and management required. Accessing ports, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, PICC line management, and starting IVs experience required. CVA and nasal cannula experience required. Isolation precautions, wound care, and wound vac experience required. Patient ratios experience required (1:5-6). Description: This position requires a registered nurse to provide care for a variety of patients with multiple comorbidities. The specialized care involves working with stroke (neuro) patient populations. The nurse will have a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5-6. Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and be aware of the strict attendance policy regarding tardiness and unexcused absences. Travelers may be required to float between facilities as needed. Candidates must pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed. No prior open cases on background checks will be accepted. The candidate should be prepared for compliance requirements prior to the proposed start date. Education verification through a third party is required. All candidates must be aware that they need to complete compliance on time. Vaccination may be required, subject to legitimate medical or religious exemptions. This position encompasses a range of nursing responsibilities in an inpatient department setting.
