Job Description:
Pediatric Neurology Opportunity Near Wilson, NC We are seeking a
Board Eligible or Board Certified Pediatric Neurologist (MD or DO)
to join our expanding Neurology Division near Wilson, NC. This
opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about both
clinical care and academic medicine. The successful candidate will
have the opportunity to work in an established academic practice
while also pursuing teaching and research interests. The position
is available for tenure-track or fixed-term appointments at the
rank of Assistant Professor or higher, based on qualifications.
Opportunity Highlights: Established Academic Practice: Join a
well-established Neurology team consisting of 5 Adult Neurologists,
2 Pediatric Neurologists, and 4 Nurse Practitioners. This
supportive environment promotes collaboration and excellence in
pediatric neurology care. 100% Pediatric Neurology: This role is
dedicated entirely to Pediatric Neurology, with a balance of both
inpatient and outpatient responsibilities, providing comprehensive
neurological care to children. Teaching and Research: Opportunity
to engage in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, as
well as conduct clinical research, contributing to advancements in
the field. In-Office Support: Benefit from extensive office
support, including a 1:1 nursing ratio, an on-site lab, EEG, EMG,
and infusion suite, ensuring you have the resources needed to
provide top-quality care. PICU and NICU Access: Work with a 10-bed
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and a 38-bed Neonatal
Intensive Care Unit (NICU) for critically ill children, offering a
wide range of care for pediatric neurological conditions.
