Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 01/26/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ICU Job Details: • Work 12-hour night shifts, 3 shifts per week • Maintain 2:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends • Weekend coverage required • 72 hours of orientation provided • Two pre-approved time off requests allowed (no time off during first week of assignment) • Float within scope if needed • Care for patients aged adolescents through geriatrics • Work with daily census of 4-6 patients in 10-bed ICU unit • Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required • Previous charge experience preferred • BSN degree preferred • EPIC charting experience required • Required certifications: PALS, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS • VA or compact state license must be in hand at time of submittal • Natural nail policy enforced • Complete non-billable modules during orientation (average 6 hours) • Skills include neuro and surgical ICU care, dysrhythmia management, ventilator management, arterial line management, and various critical care procedures Facility: This community hospital features a 10-bed intensive care unit that provides comprehensive critical care services. The facility offers extensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary support.
