Job Description:
Liberty Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. In this
pivotal role, the DON will be responsible for overseeing all
nursing operations within the facility, ensuring the highest
standards of patient care and aligning with our mission of
enhancing wellbeing through innovative and quality healthcare
solutions. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision to the
department, foster a professional environment that supports
continuous improvement and patient safety, and uphold the values of
Liberty Healthcare. Develop and implement nursing department
policies and objectives to ensure compliance with regulatory
standards and alignment with overall organizational goals. Manage
the nursing staff, including hiring, training, evaluating, and
scheduling to ensure high levels of performance and adequate
staffing. Oversee patient care management to ensure that patient
needs are met through the effective assignment and delegation of
tasks. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and
departments to integrate care and optimize patient outcomes.
Prepare and manage the budget for the nursing department, and
ensure resource allocation meets the needs of the department. Lead
quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives in
patient care services. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of healthcare
regulations and advancements in nursing care. Strong leadership and
team management skills In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations
and accreditation standards Excellent interpersonal and
communication skills Ability to develop and manage budgets Strong
problem-solving and analytical skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse
(RN) license in the state of employment. Certification in nursing
administration or leadership is highly preferred, such as a
Certified Nurse Manager and Leader (CNML) or a Nurse
Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC) credential.
