Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: South Hill, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years License: Virginia or compact state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS Must-Have: Epic charting experience required Charge experience preferred Community hospital experience preferred BSN preferred Description: We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a community hospital setting. The position requires managing critically ill patients in the intensive care unit. You will be responsible for the care of patients on ventilators, and those requiring continuous IV sedation. Skills needed include arterial line management, central line care, and the interpretation of arterial blood gases. You will assist with the management of complex medical situations, including multi-organ dysfunction. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 2:1 during shifts. Candidates should be prepared to float within the scope of their practice when necessary. All candidates are required to have experience with the Epic charting system.
