Urgent Care Job Details Location: Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina (27870) Setting: Outpatient Urgent Care Clinic Employment Type: Locum Tenens (Contract), On-Site Start Date: February 2, 2026 End Date: April 11, 2026 Duration: 10-week contract Shifts per Week: 3 Shift Duration: 12-hour days Hours per Week: 36 Shift Hours: Sunday & Saturday: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM; Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Patient Volume: 35-40 patients per day No call required Estimated Weekly Salary: $3,340 – $3,960 Nurse Practitioner Job Requirements Active North Carolina Nurse Practitioner license BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (AHA required) Ability to provide care for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients Strong clinical skills in urgent care procedures Urgent Care Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive urgent care services in an outpatient healthcare setting Perform procedures including foreign body removal, suturing, incision & drainage (I&D), and casting/DME fitting Conduct patient assessments, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and develop evidence-based treatment plans Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical documentation Participate in orientation prior to first shift Apply now to join our urgent care team in Roanoke Rapids, NC and make a meaningful impact in North Carolina healthcare!
