Job Description Emergency Medicine Physician Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join a hospital-based Emergency Department in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This position offers the opportunity to provide high-quality emergency care in a collaborative and patient-focused environment. The Emergency Medicine Physician will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with a wide range of acute illnesses and injuries while working closely with nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and hospital services. Responsibilities - Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages - Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and emergent medical conditions - Perform emergency procedures and stabilize critical patients - Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including labs and imaging - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient patient care - Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation - Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives Requirements Qualifications - MD or DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine - Eligible for North Carolina medical licensure - Strong clinical judgment and ability to work in a fast-paced environment - Excellent communication and teamwork skills This opportunity offers a supportive clinical environment, professional stability, and the chance to make a meaningful impact in a community-based emergency department.
