Registered Nurse (RN) | Med/Surg / Telemetry Location: South Hill, VA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/26/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Med/Surg Tele Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: - EPIC charting experience required - Community hospital experience preferred Description: Registered Nurse position available for Med/Surg Tele unit. Responsibilities include managing patients with a variety of medical conditions. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple patients. Experience in telemetry and cardiac monitoring is essential. Should be proficient in accessing and managing ports, blood product administration, and telemetry monitoring. Candidates must be skilled in managing central lines and understanding dysrhythmias. Successful applicants will be able to perform phlebotomy and provide care for various medical devices and procedures. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care is expected. Flexibility in scheduling and potential weekend coverage is required. Must adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential for this role. Candidates will float within scope if needed. References may be required upon request. Busier patient ratios are expected during night shifts. Ongoing education and training modules will be provided.
