Description Specialization: Gastroenterology Job Summary: Angel Medical Center in Franklin, NC is seeking a Surgical Services Advanced Practice Provider to join a busy and growing surgical practice. Qualified Candidates: Completion of an accredited physician assistant program with appropriate certification exams Has, and maintains, current license with the North Carolina Medical Board BLS, ACLS certification required Gastroenterology APP experience preferred ; and/or General Surgery clinical rotations Position Highlights: Will be responsible for office procedures as they pertain to General Surgery surgical services Schedule: Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm Must possess excellent clinical, communication, and problem-solving skills Clinic responsibilities include seeing new and follow-up patients as well as triaging calls About Angel Medical Center: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital with ICU and surgical suites Angel Medical Center has been named an Acute Stroke Ready hospital by the Joint Commission and American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Outpatient services include wound clinic, a full laboratory, digital mammography, CT, MRI, nuclear medicine, rehab therapy, as well as surgical and endoscopy services Nestled in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, this quaint southwestern North Carolina town offers a change of pace and a never-ending supply of activities for the entire family.
