qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in South Hill, Virginia, 23970! Pay
Information $2,110 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical/Surgical
Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12
Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Active nursing
license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: EPIC charting
experience required Community hospital experience preferred
Description: The position involves providing care on a
Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. Nurses will manage patient care
for a variety of adult populations. The patient-to-nurse ratio on
this unit is 4 patients per nurse. Nurses will be expected to
administer medications and monitor telemetry. Experience with
cardiac telemetry is essential. Skills in managing various medical
conditions and understanding dysrhythmias are necessary. Candidates
should be familiar with managing IVs, central lines, and multiple
forms of airway management. Additional responsibilities include
wound care and care of surgical drains. Team collaboration with
interdisciplinary support services is expected. Candidates should
exhibit proficiency in various nursing skills as outlined in job
requirements. Floating within the scope of nursing duties may be
required. The facility operates with a natural nail policy.
Candidates may be subject to background checks and health
