Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 9 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Position Description Duke Lifepoint Hospital, a Joint Commission Accredited facility, is seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to join our team in the region's largest and most comprehensive Emergency Department. Our 11-bed Free-Standing Emergency Department (FSED) in Louisburg, NC, is known for its high-paced, high acuity environment, serving a diverse patient population. The facility also features a dedicated 33-bed psychiatric unit. Location Located in the charming town of Louisburg, NC, our facility offers a unique opportunity to work in a rural setting while being part of a leading healthcare system. Louisburg is known for its welcoming community, beautiful landscapes, and rich history, making it an ideal location for both work and leisure. Job Details Floor: Emergency Department Required Certifications: CPR, ACLS, PALS, Handle with care or de-escalation training Patient Population: Various aged patient population Must Have Skills/Experience: Strong clinical skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Preferred Skillset/Experience: Peripheral IV, Stroke, SEPSIS, STEMI experience Common Diagnosis/Treatment: High acuity emergency cases Personality Fit: Adaptable, resilient, and team-oriented Scrub Color: Black, navy, and royal blue Any Unacceptable Attire: No vulgar/slang language on t-shirts, no sweatpants/active pants Local Rate: Candidates must be 60 miles or greater to be considered for travel positions.
