Carolina Behavioral Care, part of the Optum family of businesses, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Testing Psychologist to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. As a member of the Optum Behavioral Care team, you'll be an integral part of our vision to make healthcare better for everyone.

As a Testing Psychologist, you will interact directly with patients conducting psychological assessments and interpreting results for a diverse patient population. We offer a variety of solutions that meet the unique needs of our workforce and the patients they serve. From clinical operations such as credentialing to business operations such as contracting, we provide organizational support that allows our providers to focus on what matters - providing care.

Primary Responsibilities:


Conduct psychological assessments and interpret results
Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records and clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Active and unrestricted (PhD, PsyD) license in the state of practice.
Currently eligible to be enrolled as a provider in the Medicare program or able to terminate opt-out (if applicable) prior to starting a new position


Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with adults, adolescents and children
Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs)
Knowledge and experience in providing neuropsychological testing
Proven comfortable working with a wide range of clinical presentations
Proven comfortable completing diagnostic assessments and general psychiatric testing in an outpatient clinical setting

The salary range for this role is $89,800 to $176,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
