The selected candidate will work night shifts (18:00 - 06:00), providing care for patients who require an intermediate level of cardiac care. The hospital is looking for skilled, experienced nurses who have a background in cardiac stepdown care. -Key Responsibilities:--- - - - -Provide high-quality nursing care in the Stepdown Cardiac Unit (CSU) during night shifts.--- - - - -Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide patient-centered care.--- - - - -Monitor and assess patients, particularly those with cardiac conditions, in need of intermediate-level care.--- - - - -Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC charting system.--- - - - -Follow established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety.--- - - - -Participate in on-call rotation as required.--- - - - -Support hospital initiatives and contribute to a positive patient care environment. -Requirements:--- - - - -Experience: Must have previous experience in cardiac stepdown/intermediate-level care.--- - - - -License: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina or pending.--- - - - -Shift: Available to work night shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM) and adhere to the unit's 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio.--- - - - -COVID-19/Flu Vaccination: COVID-19 vaccination is not required.
