Title: Safety Manager
Location: New construction site located in South Hill, VA
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 + 4% 401(k) Match
Benefits: Full Comprehensive Benefits Package
Travel: No Travel

Position Description: The Safety Manager ensures Adams Environmental, Health, and Safety programs, including State and Federal applicable regulations are adhered to by the assigned project leadership personnel. You will provide or identify safety-related training and oversee adherence to construction safety norms. Perform Construction Site and Safety Audits, i.e., Adams Project Site Safety Inspection. You will actively participate in the project handoff programs and processes, including project site preparation, and acclimating to the project team as a Construction Safety Manager, you'll work with Adams Electric Safety Directors, Project Managers, and Site Superintendents to develop and implement site-specific safety programs for electrical installations. You'll assist with administration duties such as preparing Jobsite Safety Analysis, Jobsite Hazard Analysis, and preparation of safety reports. Begin the workday by inspecting the workplace to ensure it is safe for operation. When employees and subcontractors fail to comply with safety standards, you'll work with management in recommending disciplinary measures. You will be expected to develop relationships and build the trust of all field associates, project managers, trade contractors, and others who are associated with project-related activities.

Requirements:
--- 3-5+ years of construction safety work experience and electrical safety.
--- Minimum OSHA 510 and 3+ years of data center construction experience is preferred.
--- Must be familiar with NFPA 70E Electrical Safety (Standard for Electrical Safety)
