III
position at ECU

North Hospital, a member of the

ECU Health system.

This position is -70% hands-clinical and 30% management. This 204 bed community hospital is located

-73 miles northeast of Raleigh and -

79 miles southwest of Chesapeake, VA .

The successful candidate will:
manage the clinical nutrition program within ECU North Hospital;
provide nutrition care to a variety of patient units;
supervise one Clinical Dietitian;
experience with Health Touch -Sodexo's menu management preferred not required
assist

with supervision of the patient meal program, training and educating staff on programs, menus, diets and processes
will represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees.
drive Performance Improvement and Quality Management projects.

5 years as a practitioner

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND)


Credentials Requirement:
Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hire
Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities state certification/licensure is required at the time of hire

Basic Management Experience: 6 years experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timeframes within the overall policy framework
Basic Functional Experience: 5 years as experienced specialized practitioner

able to work unsupervised and provide professional supervision to specialists.
