This 204 bed community hospital is located --73 miles northeast of Raleigh and - 79 miles southwest of Chesapeake, VA. - Halifax County provides a wealth of outdoor recreational activities. • manage the clinical nutrition program within ECU North Hospital;
• provide nutrition care to a variety of patient units;
• supervise one Clinical Dietitian;
• experience with Health Touch -Sodexo's menu management preferred not required
• assist - with supervision of the patient meal program, training and educating staff on programs, menus, diets and processes
• will represent the department on hospital-wide medical staff committees.

Qualifications & Requirements: Basic Education Requirement:Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) -For those eligible for the registration exam prior to 1/1/24:Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as dictated by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) - -Credentials Requirement:Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire. - In some states and/or facilities the RD/RDN credentials is required at the time of hireCertification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
