Position ObjectiveThe Front of House Director will play a key role in the store and day to day operations. The ultimate goal for this role is to lead a team and ensure that all aspects of the Front of House are running smoothly and efficiently while delivering a remarkable guest experience. This opportunity is far greater than "fast food" but is an opportunity for a key individual to daily impact team members and business functions of a Chick-fil-A restaurant. After spending an initial training period, learning the basics of the Chick-fil-A operation and procedures, this individual should be fully prepared to take ownership over all processes related to the Front of House. This leader will be intentionally developed, and long-term will have the opportunity to serve as a top leader in an even larger capacity or pursue becoming an Owner/Operator within the next 4-5 years!
Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and monitor all Front of House operations including Front Counter, Drive Thru, Dine In, and Mobile/Third Party
  • Train, develop, and supervise a team of up to 30 per shift with 3-4 direct reports
  • Enthusiastically lead and positively impact team and culture through building relationships, celebrating successes, and modeling core values
  • Hold team members accountable to all policies, metrics, and goals of the business; mediate any conflict
  • Ongoing evaluation of business operations and streamlining systems/processes for efficiency
  • Ensure that Front of House is staffed appropriately at all times
  • Track and improve store goals with a focus on Customer Experience Monitors and Customer Satisfaction
  • Perform off-shift managerial tasks for Front of House such as team development, reviewing reports and results, and scheduling
  • Meet regularly with Leadership Team for training/personal development and to execute the overall vision and grow the overall success of the store
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred
    • 2-3+ years of management and leadership experience
    • Restaurant experience highly preferred
    • Enthusiastic with high energy; passion for leading, coaching and developing others
    • Demonstrates servant leadership mentality with high integrity; willing to do tasks that others might consider beneath them
    • Ability to connect and work effectively with a younger team
    • Sense of ownership; self motivated with a willingness and eagerness to learn
    • Critical thinker and problem solver with strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Perceptive and innovative; able to determine needed ongoing changes to the business
    • Ability to set goals and create action plans to achieve those goals
    • Takes initiative; driven and hard-working individual with a growth mindset
    • Ability to keep composer under high pressure and make decisions quickly
    • Organized, detail-oriented with a strong sense of follow through
    • Ability to obtain the knowledge and skills of every position in the operation
