Ryder, a globally recognized leader in transportation and logistics, is seeking a Lead Continuous Improvement Engineer to join our Engineering & Maintenance department. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and quality through leading-edge engineering practices and continuous improvement methodologies. The ideal candidate will drive innovation and optimization projects across our supply chain and logistic operations, ensuring alignment with our commitment to delivering outstanding service and performance. Lead and manage continuous improvement projects throughout the organization, utilizing methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen. Analyze current processes and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement and oversee the effectiveness of improvement initiatives, adjusting strategies as necessary to achieve desired results. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration and alignment of engineering solutions across all operational levels. Train and mentor team members on best practices in continuous improvement and process optimization. Prepare detailed reports and presentations for upper management demonstrating project progress and outcomes. Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and Kaizen Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and leadership abilities Experience with process simulation and statistical analysis software Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Six Sigma Black Belt preferred Lean Certification
