Stanadyne As a Product Development Engineer at Stanadyne, you will
be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing automotive
products from concept through production. You will work closely
with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, quality,
and manufacturability meet customer and company standards. This
position is key to driving innovation and contributing to the
successful launch of new products in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment. Key Responsibilities : Develop new automotive
products, components, and systems by collaborating with design,
manufacturing, and quality teams. Perform concept development,
detailed design, and engineering analysis using CAD tools (e.g.,
SolidWorks, CATIA, AutoCAD). Optimize product designs to meet
performance, cost, and manufacturability targets. Conduct
engineering testing and validation, including prototypes and
functional testing, to ensure products meet specifications. Create
and maintain design documentation, such as DFMEA, DVP&R, and
engineering reports. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to
select appropriate materials and components. Support production
teams in resolving technical issues during product manufacturing
and launch phases. Provide technical input during design reviews
and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Stay current
with industry trends, technologies, and regulations relevant to
automotive product development. Work on multiple projects
concurrently, ensuring deadlines and milestones are met.
Qualifications : Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,
Automotive Engineering, or a related field. 3-5 years of experience
in product development, preferably in the automotive industry.
Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA,
AutoCAD). Experience with DFMEA, DVP&R, and other quality and
testing tools. Familiarity with materials selection, manufacturing
processes, and design for manufacturability (DFM). Strong
problem-solving skills and the ability to apply engineering
principles to complex challenges. Excellent communication and
teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate with
cross-functional teams. Knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma,
and continuous improvement is a plus. Stanadyne is an equal
