Job Description:
At JLL, a leader in real estate services worldwide, we are
seeking a seasoned Chief Engineer to oversee our engineering
operations within our vast property portfolio. The Chief Engineer
will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity and operational
excellence of our properties, ensuring all systems function at peak
efficiency while aligning with sustainability practices. This role
includes managing a diverse team of engineering professionals,
implementing cutting-edge maintenance procedures, and contributing
to the overall strategic objectives of our asset management
department. Oversee the daily operations of building systems
including mechanical, electrical, fire/life safety, and elevators.
Manage and lead a team of engineers and maintenance staff, ensuring
a high standard of building maintenance and operational efficiency.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies that improve the
longevity and functionality of property systems. Collaborate with
other department heads to align engineering services with the
broader strategic goals of property management. Ensure compliance
with all safety, environmental, and building regulations. Manage
budgets and forecasts related to building engineering needs and
projects. Liaise with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders to
coordinate major maintenance activities and renovations. Deep
knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills. Strong project
management capabilities. Excellent problem-solving and analytical
abilities. Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety
regulations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
401k Certified Plant Engineer (CPE) or similar certification. LEED
Accreditation preferred.
