Machining Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our team
specializing in Manufacturing for our Engine Business Department in
Rocky Mount, North Carolina .In this role, you will make an impact
in the following ways:Leads the planning, designing, purchasing,
and implementation of changes to the manufacturing equipment and
systems while leading and co-leading teams.Leads the work for
specific projects to create and implement all aspects of a
manufacturing processes to ensure safety requirements,
manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are
met.Leads by applying the knowledge or use of manufacturing
principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and
processes.Impacts the work by utilizing continuous improvement
tools, following the Cummins standards, and leading the development
of manufacturing standards and working methods.Leads the
communications with and influences key external stakeholders,
business leaders, and functional members.Works with internal and
external resources on specific project assignments.To be successful
in this role you will need the following:Problem Solving - Solves
problems using a systematic analysis process by leveraging industry
standard methodologies to create problem traceability and protect
the customer; determines the assignable cause; implements robust,
data-based solutions; identifies the systemic root causes and
recommended actions to prevent problem reoccurrence.Health and

or equivalent degree required.This position may require licensing
for compliance with export controls or sanctions
regulations.ExperienceIntermediate level of relevant work
experience required.Able to lead and execute the development of all
required manufacturing processes and documentation for a completely
new manufacturing production line (examples include process flows,
PFMEA's, machine tool routings, and work instructions).Project
management of multiple simultaneous activities and prioritization
processes required to set and meet required deadlines.Position will
lead and execute New Business Startup process in parallel with
additional supporting project planning processes.Role focuses on
fixtures and tooling in combination with CNC programming and
process; 6-8 year experience required.Potential for 1-3 direct
reports.Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional
