Job Description:

Epic Special Education Staffing is seeking a passionate and skilled Onsite Speech Language Pathologist to join our dedicated team. This role involves working directly with students who have various communication disorders, providing assessment, treatment, and consultation services within a school setting. The successful candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to facilitate communication and support student success in the educational environment. Assess students' speech and language abilities and needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide direct therapy based on students' specific needs Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to integrate speech therapy with educational outcomes Maintain comprehensive documentation of students' progress Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and strategies for at-home support Participate in IEP meetings and provide expert recommendations Strong understanding of speech pathology practices and techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to design and execute detailed therapy plans Proficiency in using assistive technologies and software specific to speech therapy Knowledge of educational laws and regulations pertinent to special education Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist
