Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A full-time
Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in a
K-12 school setting located in Portsmouth, VA. This contracted role
runs from February 23, 2026, through the end of the school year.
The position offers a chance to provide specialized speech and
language therapy services to students across the kindergarten to
12th grade population. Key Qualifications and Skills: Licensed or
certified Speech-Language Pathologist with experience in school
settings Proficiency in delivering teletherapy services as part of
a hybrid or remote model Knowledge of K-12 educational environments
and ability to manage diverse caseloads Familiarity with voice
output communication aids (VOCA) is a plus Ability to adapt therapy
plans to meet individual student needs Job Duties and
Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide speech therapy
interventions to students with speech, language, and communication
disorders Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational
professionals to support student progress Maintain detailed
documentation of therapy sessions and student evaluations Utilize
teletherapy technologies to effectively reach students when
in-person sessions are limited Manage a caseload of students
requiring speech services, with flexibility to adjust as caseload
numbers are finalized Comply with all applicable educational and
professional regulatory standards Location and Schedule: Position
based in Portsmouth, Virginia Full-time hours throughout the school
