year of experience as an ASL Interpreter in educational settings.

considered. This role involves providing sign language interpreting
services through telehealth platforms for a school environment. The
position requires clear and accurate communication to support
students and staff who rely on sign language for effective
interaction. The interpreter will facilitate smooth and accessible
communication in virtual settings, ensuring educational content is
conveyed accurately and inclusively. Responsibilities include:
Delivering high-quality sign language interpretation via telehealth
for educational sessions Collaborating with educators and support
staff to promote accessible learning Adhering to confidentiality
and professional standards in all interactions Managing scheduling
and documentation in compliance with contract requirements Desired
qualifications and experience: Proficiency in American Sign
Language (ASL) and comprehensive understanding of interpreting
techniques Experience with telehealth technology and remote
interpreting services Knowledge of educational terminology and
environment is preferred Strong interpersonal and communication
skills to effectively engage with students and school personnel
Ability to work under a 1099 contract arrangement with reliable
